Hi all,

i am Harini from India n i am working on MFC's,

My current value is very much less to the theoritical value,eg.my voltage value is 250 mV,and my resistance is 100 ohms,so i must get a cueent value of 2.5 mA,but I am getting only 0.2 mA, is my work wrong? what should i do to raise my current output

Also, i need some informations abt the methods of maintaining anaerobic conditions in the anode of a microbial fuel cell.

will neural red, methylene blue contribute to maintaining anaerobic conditions in the MFC anode when added to it

hi
chandan here,
this is due to the voltae drop across the two ends.due to this voltage drop you will get less ammount of current as expected.in your case there is a voltage drop of 50mV ,so u r getting a current of 0.2 mA.... this is the property of the system u can't do anything, just raise ur voltage in that proption so that after d loss u can get d desired current..........
