We would like to invite you to the Inaugural NABESM, the North American Bioelectric Systems Meeting. The conference will be held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, situated in the Western Massachusetts Pioneer Valley, October 12th -13th. Registration is now open. This two-day conference, entitled "Microbes Electric", will provide an open forum for researchers and professionals in the field of bioelectric systems to discuss and present their research. Presentations will pertain to the bioremediation, electrochemistry, electrosynthesis, engineering, power generation, and microbiology of bioelectric systems. There will be four oral presentation sessions, including keynote, invited and submitted talks. One oral presentation session will be designated for graduate student talks. There will also be a poster session and social program. Submitted abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation. Registration is $180 and includes all conference sessions and social events. Social events include reception on October 11th, lunch October 12th and 13th, and the gala dinner event October 12th.
