PhD Defences and informal workshop - Ghent (Belgium) |

On the 16th and 17th of February 2009, Peter
Aelterman and Hai The Pham both working at the Laboratory for Microbial
Ecology and Technology (LabMET - Ghent University) will have their
public defences of their PhD.
The PhD-work of Peter Aelterman is entitled "Microbial fuel cells for
the treatment of waste streams with energy recovery" and will be
defended in public on Monday the 16th of February 2009 at 17:00pm.
The PhD-work of Hai The Pham is entitled "Microbiological improvements of the bioanode performance in
bioelectrochemical systems" and will be defended in public on Tuesday the 17th of February 2009 at 17:00
pm.
On Tuesday the 17th of February 2009, from 10:00 am till
15:00 pm, there will be organized an informal
workshop. There will be several presentations by experienced MFC
researchers in an informal atmosphere.
